It is rare that two SHOE companies get together to create a pair of sneakers, unless you count the major shoe companies going on an acquisition bender. Leave it to innovators JB Classics [they of the Sneaker Pimps and Kid Robotcollabs] and DC Shoes, a leader in skating and lifestle kicks to come together to create an amazing shoe that will appeal to broad audiences.
In addition to the shoe above, there will also be a shirt and a New Era hat--a tactic that is become more common with limited releases. All of the items have at their core the theme of Denchronology--shown symbolically as the growth ring pattern in the design on the collaboration. Thanks to our friends at High Snobeity and SlamXHype for the images and the in-depth coverage.
Finally, I am proud to announce that I am participating in National Blog Posting Month [affectionately known as NaBloPoMo] which means that I will be posting at least once a day, every day during the month of November. Wish me luck--and keep me honest!
